Thursday, May 2 - Test Sophistication Grade 5 Math 7:20-8:20 am, Grade 2 class trip and Broadway Musical AS 2:40-5:00 pm

Friday, May 3 - Test Sophistication Grade 5 Math 7:20-8:20 am, Spirit Day/Student Council Star Wars Day, Read-a-Thon ends, Dance Program 2:40-4:00 pm 

 

PS 98 Read A Thon 

P. S. 98 will be participating in a Read-a-Thon!  We are hoping that this will get our students excited to read over the break and beyond!  A flyer went home on Monday that has a specific class code and instructions on how to create an account.   

 

In addition to reading great books, having sponsors for your child's reading will also fundraise money for our school.  Every child who participates in the Read-a-Thon will receive a small gift and our top fundraisers and readers will receive an even bigger prize (TBD).  The Read-a-Thon began on Monday, April 15th and will end on Friday, May 3rd.  Happy Reading!

PTA News

The PTA is looking for individuals who are willing to serve as leaders on the Executive Board for the 2024-2025 school year.  We also will be holding elections for the SLT second grade representative to hold a two-year term (2nd grade in 2024-2025).  PTA Elections are scheduled for Tuesday, May 21st, 2024 at 7pm via Zoom meeting.  Please put the date in your calendars.
